My client is a market leader in product software management. They have offices all over the world and are really establishing their product here in Australia. We are looking for a strong Sales Manager with demonstrable experience to come and lead the sales team here in QLD.
The Role:
- Establishes new accounts, services existing accounts, obtains orders, and closes sales with a focus on large, strategically important accounts that typically involve long sales cycles and the navigating of multiple levels of bureaucracy and requiring approvals from multiple decision-makers.
- Keeps management informed by submitting accurate and timely activity and results reports on a weekly basis and provides sales forecasting information on a monthly basis.
- Maintains accurate customer and potential customer records on a variety of databases.
- Prepares and conducts successful presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences, quickly identifying concerns and promptly addressing with persuasive facts and sound reasoning.
- Keeps management informed by submitting accurate and timely activity and results reports on a weekly basis and provides sales forecasting information on a monthly basis.
- Conducts sales activities within a pre-defined sales budget.

The Candidate:
- Minimum of 3+ years' computer and IT Management
- Passion for selling
- Proven track record utilizing solution selling and closing deals
- Have a strong knowledge of networking and computer technology
- Patience, persistence and a strong desire to close deals
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective persuasion skills (both technical and non-technical)
