We are calling for an outstanding relationship manager to take on a sales reprehensive role whereby you will be exposed to extensive mechanical/technical knowledge and represent a specialised product range dealing exclusively with the mining and civil industry providing end user services.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be allocated a portfolio of clients which is weighted at 95% mining and 5% civil heavy.
Before you meet your client base you will be subject to strict training and mentoring in respect to the system and processes of the business as well as the extreme technical/mechanical data required to represent their product range in the market.
Your time will be split 50% on road and 50% in their northern offices
Your role will involve:
- High Level Customer Account Management involving a large spend value
- Advanced technical/mechanical data knowledge in order to assist clients will their requirements
- Working to a TEAM budget, with all necessary reporting duties
- Dealing with price negotiations and agreements
- Setting and communicating dates in respect to product delivery and logistics
- Managing the clients expectations in respect to demand versus need of product
- Travel to remote locations quarterly (flown) for client account meetings
- Maintaining and Managing the administrative order flow & all client communication
You will present with:
- Strong record keeping, detail and administration skills
- Account Management & Sales Relationship Background (pref, Industrial to Industrial)
- Technically/Mechanically minded - an interest in representing a technical/mechanical product range, with the ability to relate to people from a workshop level through to corporate
- A current drivers licence
- A down to earth, honest, positive and motivated personality who can be trusted
- A team orientated attitude
- Very strong reference checks geared to client service levels
- Forklift Licence (desirable not essential)
In return you will be offered a Monday to Friday working week, a salaried (no commission) wage of 65K plus super, plus maintained vehicle, laptop and blackberry phone.
