A global designer, manufacturer & supplier of consumable products to the Civil Construction, tunnelling and bridges sectors with worldwide operations across Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas. Due to significant and rapid growth, a need has been identified for a Technical Sales Representative in Newcastle. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, this role will focus on the post-tensioning product category used primarily for repair and strengthening projects in construction, civil and infrastructure. You will manage successful account relationships at multiple levels in civil and construction delivering technical knowledge, superior technology, quality and absolute reliability. At a technical and applications level you will focus on identifying upcoming projects or tenders ensuring you are positioning your business for success. A true ‘business hunter’ you will develop strong networks and commercial relationships to position yourself as the supplier of choice as well as focused on strategic planning, market analysis and the recognition of untapped sales opportunities. A technical sales professional, you must have demonstrated experience in managing key customer accounts in construction/civil/infrastructure at a senior and corporate level. Demonstrated knowledge of post-tensioning and/or tunnelling sales experience will be a distinct advantage. A degree or post graduate qualification in mining, business or engineering is desirable.
