The purpose of this role is to synchronize the underground geological operations in a manner that exceeds the company's goals

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in relation to health, safety, environmental management and all mine geology activities
• Ensure all ore reserve and mineral resource data is accurately prepared
• Ensure the Mine Geological team supports the Mining Department in optimising the resource extraction
• Provide geological leadership and guidance to the Mine Geology team

Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Earth Sciences
• Extensive experience in metalliferous underground Mine Geology
• Demonstrated experience in the leadership of geological teams
• Proficient computer skills, specifically in the usage of mine planning and 3D modelling software
• Excellent communication, mentoring and negotiation skills
• High level organisational and project management skills to ensure time, budget and data quality standards are met

The role is located in Western Victoria.
