Our client is a large operational mining company that controls Iron Ore rights to one of the largest tenement portfolios across the Pilbara region. They have a number of exciting projects at varying stages of development and require an experienced Project Controls Manager to join the management team.
The focus of the role will be the provision of project controls and administration for this marquee iron ore project. The individual will also be required to ensure that a project controls delivery system is in place to support a pipeline of additional projects.
Reporting to the Projects Director, this key role in the owner's team is to oversee the provision of a comprehensive range of fit for purpose, cost effective and timely project controls and administration activities for a suite of mine, rail, port and infrastructure construction projects.
This includes;
* Development of owner's team systems, policies and procedures for the optimal control of projects
* Project schedule review, optimisation and reporting
* Cost and budget review and reporting
* Estimation services
* Project risk review and reporting
* Quality assurance controls
* Oversight of owners team and contractor performance against owners team standards
* Document control and administration.
The role requires the individual to provide support to the owners team project managers and to work closely with EPCM service providers and contractors.
