PRODUCTION ENGINEER Our Client is a strong force in the Australian iron ore industry. Established in Perth in 1996 and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in 2002, the Company owns and operates the Koolan Iron, Tallering Peak, and Extension Hill mines. Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer/Mining Manager, you will be responsible for general supervision, technical advice, planning and methodology in the mine including:
• Short, medium and long term planning activities
• Examining mining methods and equipment to improve performance
• Preparing drill and blast plans
• Providing engineering services to the mine manager as required
• Supervision of junior engineers and other technical staff in their day to day activities
• Project work as required The successful candidate will have:- • Tertiary qualification in mining or civil/ mechanical engineering
• 2 plus years’ experience in mining operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
