Leading Australian Mining Contractor with mining operations across Australia and internationally. Their contract has been extended at this open cut coal operation. Currently they produce a high quality thermal coal for both domestic and export markets. After constructing this operation their continued strong relationship with the client sees them undertaking full mining operations.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Drill and Blast Supervisor. This role will see you working with the Technical Services department and you are responsible for the projects drill and blast process. Ensuring safety of the drill and blast crew at all times, efficient drill and blast methods are adhered to and utilise plant and personnel to ensure the projects costs are kept down form the basis of this role.

To be successful in this role you will have had previous drill and blast supervisory experience, preferably in a Coal Mining operation. Your NSW Shot firers ticket would be highly regarded, proven experience leading a highly productive team and you will posess strong relationship building, communication and negotiation skills.
