One of their green-field underground mine operations has an immediate need for a Mining Engineer where you will utilise your mine planning and implementation experience in an underground mine to assist in the coordination and control of the green-field mine site development. Here you will be directly reporting to the senior mining engineer.
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Follow company procedures to develop current conception plans to final design.
- Development and delivery of accurate mine planning information and project schedules.
- Provide feedback loops between all departments to optimise mine planning.
- Ensure that risk assessment processes are adhered to throughout the design process.
You will require:
- Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated understanding of mine design and scheduling.
- Sound grasp of mine planning and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of mine geology, rock mechanics and ventilation principles.
