They are seeking a dynamic Mining Engineer to join our Technical Services Department servicing our underground operations in the Hunter Valley.
Reporting to our Technical Services Manager your responsibilities for this role are; contributing to mine operations through planning, evaluation of mining methods, Mine scheduling, budgeting and identification of improvements to mining processes.
Successful applicants must demonstrate competence in the following areas;
Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering (or related engineering discipline)
Commitment to high standards of safety, health and environmental guardianship
Experience in an underground mining environment
Knowledge of scheduling and resource planning in a mining context
Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and work ethic
