Our client is a company with operating gold mines in the Northern Territory of Australia currently producing from the Howley and North Point open pit mines and the Brocks Creek underground mine.

We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Mine Surveyor to undertake surveying operations to the underground mien sites to ensure a quality surveying service to the operation.

This position is a part of the Mining Department that requires work to be completed at either of the underground operations.

Reporting directly to the Senior Surveyor this position must work closely with geology and mining personnel to enable the company to achieve safe production.

To be successful in your application for this role you must be able to:

Implement health and safety systems, policies and procedures
Manage the survey database
Supply line and grade for underground headings
Produce internal reporting as required as well as end of month volumes and advances
Survey underground as-builts workings and update; and
Provide detailed survey plans.

A Tertiary qualification in Survey, computer literacy and a pro-active, self starter capable of working in a small team of professionals are requirements of this position.
