Our client, located in Mernda is the largest producer of fresh mushrooms in the Southern Hemisphere. We are currently seeking reliable individuals for the following roles. All these roles are casual on-going working Monday to Friday. To be considered you MUST have your own car and licence and be able to commit to ongoing work. These roles are for an immediate start!

Casing Area:
Applicants will be required to load pallet trays of peat moss onto machines. You must hold a current LF licence & be comfortable to work in a cool but yet challenging environment and enjoy working in a team. This role is on Day shift working 4 days a week (Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon) 6am – 4pm and has potential for permanency after 3 months. Pay rate: $22 p/h + penalties on w/ends.
Need to be confident with hand tools as some tray repair work is involved.

Spawn Labourer:
Applicants for this role will need to be capable of some lifting up to 20kg and an eye for detail as you will be required to do some quality inspection work as well. Your main duties will be filling a bag with Spawn and pushing it through a machine to be sealed. You shall then be required to pick up the bags, place it on a pallet and put it in a refrigerator - like machine. You must be comfortable to work in a cool dry environment and hold a current LF Licence. This role is on Day shift working 4 days a week in a casual ongoing basis(Mon, Tue, Wed & Thur) 6am – 2.30pm. Pay rate is $21.06p/h
