You will ideally present with at least 3/4 years of procurement/supply experience– key to the role are your core capabilities in understanding the procurement process encompassing sourcing, tender management, market engagement and data analysis through to supplier management and stakeholder engagement. Your drive, ambition, communication skills and commercial acumen are just as important as technical abilities.

You will manage between 3-5 categories and have direct ownership for driving the performance of significant tenders and contracts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Perfecting ‘opportunity analysis’ of appropriate market data.
- Contributing to managing the end to end tender process including tender evaluation plan, tender specifications, weighting criteria, whilst ensuring probity is maintained.
- Performance management of contracts
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and business units to continually seek to improve the tendering and procurement process.
Essentials for the role are:
- Sound knowledge and proven experience in commercial procurement practices and/or tenders and contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Being results oriented, self driven and focused on meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills are essential including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
