Looking for casual work in a professional environment? Can you do basic maintenance / handyman work? Potential for casual work throughout the year.
Based in the service centre of this large law firm (200+ staff onsite), you will be responsible for working in a team environment attending to telephone and email requests from staff members in a timely manner.
Your duties will include:

Basic maintenance issues (can you use a screwdriver?!)

Removing empty boxes and archive boxes
-
Sorting of mail and delivering mail throughout the firm

Attending to couriers, both incoming and outgoing

Attending to occasional deliveries near the firm in the CBD

Other duties as requested
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have:

A background in a busy administrative position

Strong customer service skills, willingness to assist others

Ability to work under pressure and to conflicting deadlines

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Outlook and Excel

Cheerful, friendly manner
We are ideally seeking a candidate who can not only commit to this assignment, but would like extra work during the year assisting to cover staff members holidays / leave etc. Mature aged applicants and/or retirees seeking extra income are encouraged to apply.
