Packaging Specialist - AdminStudio/Wyse/Altiris Immediately Available?
Or client is a major Australian Institution with approximately 10,000 desktops in the group and is currently seeking a Packaging Specialist to join their team. This is a short term contract engagement with possible extensions or permanent opportunities. An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Packaging Specialist to join their Client Services Team to package, deploy and support software to their standard operating environment. This team is responsible for maintaining, enhancing and developing procedures and methodologies to support the standard operating environment.
You will have a strong packaging background in large user bases with XP Desktops, as well as a good understanding of Zenworks to manage, upgrade and troubleshoot technical queries from the business.
Background Required: - 3-5 years proven IT Technical Experience
- High level application packaging with AdminStudio is preferred (Although we will entertain a strong Wyse/Altiris packaging background)
- High level of Novell systems (ConsoleOne, Zenworks and Groupwise.)
- Understanding of eDir & AD
- Proven experience in desktop PC management, Windows PC operating systems, SOE images, security and connectivity
- Relevant tertiary and computer qualifications preferred and/or experience in packaging and deploying desktop software using MSI technology. This includes experience with windows registry, Scripting languages, packaging and ZENworks.
