A leading investment bank has an opportunity available for an experienced J2EE developer to join their cutting edge team. Joining an established project the successful applicant will be increasing the teams development capability around their global markets trading technology. Working closely with the business you will be providing high level software solutions in a Real Time, high transactional, multi threaded environment. The team work in a highly collaborative environment to provide the best results available to the bank on a global basis. It's essential that all applicants have a proven track record of working in complex Object Oriented environments where the applications speed is a key priority. Requirements: - Strong Java design and development skills; experience working with J2EE, Hibernate
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to find innovative solutions to new requirements
- Object Oriented application development experience in Java
- Web development in a J2EE environment is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
