Training Package Development Officer

My Client is one of many independent, not for profit industry skills coucils established by the Australian government and due to recent movement they are seeking a Training Package Development Officer to work for their organisation on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the review, development and writing of nationally endorsed units of competency.
  • Coordinate authored Training package production process.
  • Complete general administration tasks to support Training Package Specialists.
  • Assist in the facilitation of stakeholder and information sessions.
  • Undertake specific project tasks in support of the Training package review process.
  • Other related duties as directed by the General manager - skills and engagement.

Skills and experience required:

  • Working knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.
  • Excellent communication skills including high level report writing and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated project coordination skills.
  • Proven proficiency in the use of MS Office products including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Highly motivated individual who demonstrates an ability to utilise a high level of initiative.
Ability to positively engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
