This large government organisation is looking for an experienced Training Development Officer to work on this high profile port-folio of work. This is an initial 6 week contract however has the potential to extend into the new financial year. In this position you will be required to develop, implement and review department-wide training and awareness programs to promote and support a variety of information related projects to facilitate individual project success and contribute to change management and benefits realisation activities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Undertake training and awareness development using contemporary instructional design and adult learning principles in accordance with agreed methodologies and quality standards; deliver training as required.
- Development of training and awareness strategies and plans that support achievement of the business benefits and organisational change objectives.
- Contribute to a range of transition team responsibilities such as business impact analysis, project and business document reviews, product testing, lessons learned, project evaluation and reporting
- Contribute to the implementation of quality standards for training program design and materials development, and participate in training development reviews.
- Contribute positively to effective working relationships with team members, project business analysts, business representatives, training officers and other project stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of training delivery and support resources including training systems, data and facilities and system support staff.
- Promote an effective working culture by ensuring knowledge is captured and shared
