Due to continued global expansion, and to increase our footprint in the NSW region, Robert Walters is proud to offer a rare opportunity to a Senior IT Recruitment Consultant/Manager to spearhead a newly created IT division within our one year old Chatswood office.

Working alongside a highly successful and profitable IT division which has been established in the Sydney CBD office for over 10 years, you will benefit from world class training in order to assist you with your step into management, or to hone your existing management skills.

As you will be one of the first (most likely the first) member of the newly created division, you will have the opportunity to determine your own technical vertical area of specialisation and will play a part in the search and selection of the other initial three team members also (the level of involvement of which would be dependent on experience level).

Initially based in the CBD office in order to receive training and to get a feeling for the Robert Walters culture and the IT team environment, you will then move to the Chatswood office at the beginning of quarter three of 2012 with the focus on recruiting IT positions for clients based in the Northern suburbs and Northern regions of NSW.

This is a position for a Consultant who is looking to take the next step in their career from Consultant or Team Lead level to Manager level and who is excited by the challenge that this role represents due to the blank canvass nature of the division at this stage. Requirements:

• At least 3 years prior IT recruitment experience, with demonstrable previous results
• A passion for developing business alongside the desire to manage, as this position requires you to be hands-on from a billing perspective also.
• A positive, can-do attitude
• A desire to demonstrate the qualities which have contributed to your success thus far
