Due to company growth we are looking for an experienced OH&S Manager to be responsible for coordinating the effective implementation and progress of agreed Safety, Health and Environment along with Quality Assurance initiatives, which improves Health and Safety at the site. Reporting to the State Manager your responsibilities will include: • Maintaining and improving agreed SHE systems and procedures • Address local SHE deficiencies in consultation with the manager in order to avoid inconsistency and duplication of effort • Implement the SHE plan, Hazard register and SHE schedule • Ensure the SHE Management system is kept up to date • Undertaking and assisting with site inductions • Identify where group and individual training is needed • Ensuring information is communicated including data and safety alerts • Provide support and guidance to all staff including meetings and toolbox talks • Provide regular and on going coaching for supervisors at all levels • Completing daily safety observations, providing immediate feedback to correct any unsafe practices • Providing feedback on a daily basis to recognise safe behaviors and SHE improvement • Maintain all data in SHE and QA systems • Coordinate regular internal audits of plant and processes to monitor on going compliance • Ensuring all plant equipment is reviewed and are obtaining timely calibration, re certifications, controlled on register and filed • Ensuring testing is being completed on concrete • Maintaining QA awareness to production manager and production staff • Meeting Safety and QA KPI’s Our client is offering an attractive remuneration, flexible working hours and possible career progression for the right person.
