Our client is a growing International Company, whom is looking for a Human Resource Officer in Townsville, to be based in a modern, forward-thinking company. This position is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced HR Officer, ideally with a background in FMCG to work in a highly professional client-focused organisation.  
  
You will be joining a successful team in a proactive and positive environment. Reporting to the Manager Human Resources you will be responsible for managing and providing a high level of HR support for Head Office based staff and Managers Within this position you will be responsible for but not limited to:-  
  
  • Implementation of efficient and effective HR Practices that are aligned to business objectives;  
  • Maintaining manning levels sufficient to support production levels;  
  • Ensuring and supporting positive employee relations;  
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation , policies and procedures;  
  • Developing effective relationships with all internal and relevant external stakeholders, including government agencies and regulatory bodies.  
   
The successful candidate will posess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, possess excellent analytical organizational and time management skills, have a dedicated approach to work and the ability to communicate on all levels. You will be solution-oriented, a team player and happy to help your colleagues when required. You will already have at least 2-3 years experience in a HR Generalist position with a proven track record.   
  
To be successful in this role you will have a thorough understanding of generalist HR role and be able to demonstrate the ability to apply them in a demanding work environment. Relevant Qualifications are essential; ideally Tertiary qualifications in HR Management would be advantageous. It is essential that you possess advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
