Our client, a progressive local government organisation is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their Technical Services team.  
In this role you will be responsible for the management of the design and investigation of building and civil works projects and you will need to ensure that the infrastructure servicing the city continues to meet the needs of the public, commensurate with development, with any necessary improvements being implemented within predetermined constraints.  
The person they are looking for will need to have the following skills and qualifications:  
SKILLS  
Essential Criteria:  

• Design Experience  
  
• Project Management experience  
  
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills  
  

Desirable Criteria:  

• Local Government Design Experience  
  
• CAD software CivilCad and AutoCad  
  
• Building and structural design experience  
  
• Engineering Survey experience including use of Total Station  
  
• Drainage software RAFTS, STORM and HecRas  
  
• Drainage and flood modelling design experience  
  

QUALIFICATIONS  
Essential:  

• Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent qualification acceptable for Corporate Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia)  
  
• NSW Class C Driver’s Licence 
  

Desirable:  

• Post Graduate qualifications in Engineering or allied field
