Renowned for their excellence power systems analysis, modelling and planning, this high profile energy services group has an outstanding opportunity for a senior or principal level electrical power systems engineer to join their team in Melbourne.
 
Working with a wide array of specialist electrical power system personnel, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
 
  • Conducting load flow analysis and short circuit studies
  • Long term electricity network development and stability planning
  • Network analysis including studies of interconnector systems
  • Relationship management including some business development
  • Liaison and communication with internal and external clients as well as third party suppliers and regulatory bodies etc

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
 
  • Demonstrated experience in power systems planning / analysis
  • Experience using Power System software such as PSS/E or DigSILENT
  • Experience in the power industry with either a consultancy or utility background
  • Degree qualifications in electrical engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
