Principal Engineer – Industrial Power

The Role
As the Principal Electrical Engineer – Industrial Power you will work in the Electrical Power Team to support a diverse range of projects in Mining, Oil & Gas and Water. As a leader in the business you will display strong leadership and communication skills along with the ability to manage competing demands while remaining focused on the overall objective of delivering projects on time and to budget.

Requirements
• Experience working on Industrial Plant Projects in Mining, Water or Oil & Gas

• Ability and confidence to mentor and develop team members
• Front End/ Preliminary design and detailed design of HV and LV systems, preferably in both the Oil & Gas and Minerals Processing industries.
• Liaising with utilities providers and major mining, resources and industrial customers.
• Extensive knowledge of power management systems, substation automation systems, electrical SCADA systems
• Preferably site experience for construction or commissioning support
• Experience in preparation of proposals, estimates, project planning and scheduling
• Strong ability to network and develop new business
• RPEQ or ability to attain within 6 months
