My client, a well known contractor within the Rail sector is urgently in need of a Rail Civil Project Manager to head up a project in the Newcastle area, NSW

This main contractor is working on a high profile Rail project in the area, which is due to run for the next few years, and is almost certain to lead to a large amount of other work from this client in the area. 

This $50million Civil Rail project will see the company construct new rail loops which interface the existing railway and a new terminal is also planned for construction. 

This is an extremely important project for this contractor, as a huge amount of construction work is planned in this area, so the Project Manager will not only need to deliver this project, but will also need to consider the potential for future business with this client and will be instrumental in ensuring all client requests are completed to the highest standard.

Candidates will come from a Civil Rail background, but this client is happy to consider candidates that have both rail and Civils experience as oppose to just the rail sector.  You will have experience working for a top or mid tier contractor, and should have a proven track record delivering civil rail projects with values in and around the $50million. You will also be based in Australia at the moment, due to the urgency or the role.
