A position has opened up within one of Victorias leading residential builders within the projects division. The projects division handles all medium density and high density developments including townhouses, units and commercial developments.

Day to day responsibilities include the following:

• Liaise with CAs, drafters, engineers, supervisors, contractors and suppliers
• Study architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
• Prepare BOQs which list the individual components required for the project and related actions
• Prepare scope of works and obtain quotes as required
• Analyse quotes to ensure best value for money tender is accepted
• Prepare purchase orders
• Action variations and amendments and provide new or updated purchase orders
• Check on variations of design to assess the effects on cost and implement change where seen fit

To be considered for this opportunity you will have experience as a estimator working for a major builder. Ideally you will be well versed in medium density and commercial developments.
