Civil/Earthworks Project Engineer This large, reputable multi disciplinary contractor is currently in the delivery phase of a number of large and high profile projects throughout NSW and Australia. One of their projects is a large civil and rail based project which currently has an urgent requirement for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join them immediately. As a Civil/Earthworks Project Engineer you will be reporting to the Area Manager in charge of this section of works. You will be utilizing your skills and experience as Civil/Earthworks Project Engineer. You will be: - Responsible for the cost engineering and planning
- Assisting the Project manager with all cost control and procedures
- Producing all cost reports required
- Liaising with various internal and external parties including sub contractors
To be considered for this role you will have the following experience: - Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role working on a Civil/Rail project in Australia
- Heavily involved in earthworks, bulk earthworks and ideally drill and blast
- Civil project experience with values greater than $50m
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have the ability to think on your feet, forward plan and deliver to time and budget.
