We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join an International design firm based in the inner city suburbs. Working with this market leader you will be exposed to both local and international projects.
Reporting to the Managing Director your duties and responsibilities will include:
• Build market position by developing and promoting business relationships
• Screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements and financials. Evaluating options, resolve internal priorities and recommend equity investments
• Facilitate the closure of new business deals by coordinating requirements, develop and negotiate contracts, integrate contract requirements with business operations
• Promote the company brand through publication opportunities
• Support business development of the office and act as representative to potential clients
• Research new business opportunities, identify projects, develop strategic plans and sales strategies and undertake presentations and negotiation with prospective customers
• Domestic and overseas travel is required
• Fee proposal and report writing
• A understanding of written and oral Mandarin is a great advantage, but not essential
• Attend workshops, trade shows and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry
