We are urgently seeking enthusiastic, qualified and self motivated carers living in Preston, Reservoir, Fairfield and Bundoora areas or surrounding suburbs to provide quality care and support to the elderly in their homes over the Christmas period. You will be working with a variety of client's in their own homes undertaking tasks such as personal care and home care We require our personal care workers to meet the following requirements: - Certificate III in Home and Community Care (HACC)
- Current Senior First Aid including CPR
- Flexible availability
- Hold a current police check
- Have a reliable car with insurance
- Current Victorian drivers license
You must have your own car so you can drive yourself to the individual homes of those requiring assistance. You will also be required to undergo police and reference checks prior to starting work. Previous home and community care experience highly regarded, but not essential. If you enjoy working independently with the support of a great team to assist elderly people maintain independence in their own homes, this is the role for you.
