A global leader in banking and financial services continuously searches for the very best in Project Management Expertise. An opportunity has arisen for a high performing career minded Project Manager to join the Strategic Change division responsible for implementing a new finance system across both Australia and off-shore.
You will be responsible for the implementation of a multi-currency general ledger system off-shore. Key accountabilities will include but not be limited to;
- Coordinating project development and assigned work
- Playing a lead role in the business process re-engineering
- Analysis of initiatives to ensure strategic benefits are maximised
- Risk mitigation
- Project plan execution and control
- Successful completion of the implementation on time and on budget
You will ideally be a highly accomplished CA / CPA Finance professional with either project management experience or qualifications. Similarly experience in an investment bank will be highly regarded. Successful applicants will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in the implementation of a multi-currency GL
- An understanding of Foreign exchange P & L repatriation and currency sell down in a similar environment
- Established and demonstrated experience in stakeholder management across Finance and IT
- Experience in projects of a medium to large size is essential
- Superior knowledge of financial products and foreign currency exposure impact
