This company is one of the most profitable investment banks in Asia with offices located across the globe including Australia. They are currently experiencing rapid growth and to that end have a need for an experienced investment banker to join their dynamic and successful operations team based in Sydney.
Your role as an Investment Banker will involve working on a variety of exciting projects and dealing directly with clients both face to face and on the telephone. Your key clients will be established medium to large size enterprises and you will inherit a book of existing and active clients to service. The majority of your clients will be Korean speaking; hence you will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal in Korean and English.
As part of this role you will be required to conduct high level of research of current market deals and monitoring of syndication loan deals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing funding support to customers
- Processing loan documentation and credit applications
- Preparation and submission of loan reports
- Participating in foreign currency denominated syndicated loans
- Participate in the assurance of international bonds
- Supporting and monitoring financial advisory services and solutions for investment plans and funding requirements
To be successful in this role you will be detail oriented and self motivated. This position requires employees to regularly work and travel independently hence you will be self disciplined with an open mind as you will be interacting with people from a variety of different cultures.
Ideally you will hold a degree in business, commerce or related field and have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role. Only Australian Permanent Residents and Citizens will be considered.
