MIGAS has a fantastic opportunity for you to complete an apprenticeship as a Hydraulic Fitter.

You will be working full time whilst completing your Certificate lll in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (fitting and turning) with a company based in Archerfield.

Your job duties will include: electrics/electronics, fault finding and repairs, general crane repairs, welding, transmission drive repairs, servicing machinery, hydraulics, crane stability and load testing. As this is a specialised market you will receive full training.

As the successful applicant you have very high numeracy skills, be well presented, have a passion for the industry and be willing to complete a 4 year apprenticeship.

Experience or a pre-vocational course is an advantage.

Driver licence is essential as there is no public transport available.

Your hours will be (these may vary): 7am until 3.30pm Monday to Friday and 7am until 11am on Saturdays. You must be able to work over time.
